Duravit exhibits the pinnacle of holistic bathroom design
Tuesday to Thursday saw plenty of activity at the stand, with Monday and Friday being a little quieter. Although the number of overall trade fair visitors is static, the quality of discussions at this year’s event remained high. It was therefore surprising to note a somewhat average level of participation by customers from France, the partner country of this year’s ISH.
“We have had some really good discussions with contacts from home and abroad, so we can be optimistic about the current year on the whole. We are focussing on the overall design of designer bathrooms, with new shapes, carefully matched colors and finishes as well as comfort-enhancing innovations. Our customers were particularly complimentary about the new Viu series, the update of Happy D and our new SensoWash Starck shower toilet,” said Frank Richter, CEO of Duravit AG. “For Duravit, the ISH is one of the most important international platforms for promoting the brand adequately. As well as the positive response to our innovations, the coherent, rigorous and contemporary way we presented ourselves at the trade fair generated a lot of praise. The way we put ourselves across provides inspiration for retailers, for example, on how to exhibit Duravit products in their showrooms.”
Despite the success of ISH 2019, it is important that Duravit continues to develop its trade fair concept as a whole to ensure that the ISH remains internationally relevant and attractive for trade, retail, architects and project developers in Germany and abroad.
